Accountant

About the Role

We’re hiring an Accountant to support a corporate accounting team with monthly and annual close, reconciliations, and reporting. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with deadlines, and likes improving processes.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end and year-end close Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Analyze account activity and explain variances Support revenue accounting and review of agreements Prepare schedules and documentation for audits Help improve reporting through Excel and automation Assist with internal controls and special projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting experience (or 1+ year with a Master’s degree) Working knowledge of GAAP Experience with reconciliations and the close process Experience with an ERP system Advanced Excel skills Preferred CPA or progress toward it Public accounting experience Experience with multiple entities Internal controls experience Benefits of the Role Fully remote Permanent, full-time position Opportunity to grow technical accounting skills
