Accounts Payable Head We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Head to lead our AP team. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the full accounts payable function, managing a team of AP specialists, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of all vendor payments. What You'll Be Doing - Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight.- Oversee the end-to-end AP process: invoice review, PO matching, payment execution (ACH, wire, check), and vendor reconciliation.- Drive month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion.- Develop and enforce AP policies, procedures, and internal controls.- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving escalated payment disputes and discrepancies.- Identify opportunities to improve AP workflows and implement process efficiencies.- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and other departments to align on payment terms and reporting needs.- Oversee compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.- Prepare and present AP performance reports and metrics to senior leadership. What You Bring - Proven experience in accounts payable, with at least some experience in a supervisory or leadership role.- Strong knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, and internal controls.- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and Excel.- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills — you can manage up, down, and across departments.- High level of integrity and discretion with confidential financial information. Nice to Have - Experience with process improvement or AP automation initiatives.- Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-currency AP environments.- CPA or relevant accounting certification is a plus.
