This role may begin as contract-to-hire or full-time, depending on experience and preference. The position is fully remote. This is not a traditional in-house proposal role. In this position, you will work as a strategic marketing partner across multiple client firms, each with its own priorities, deadlines, pursuit pipelines, and brand standards. You will help manage the full pursuit process, from reviewing RFQs/RFPs and organizing requirements to developing proposal content, coordinating team inputs, designing layouts, and preparing polished, compliant submissions. Day to day, you may write and edit pursuit content, manage proposal schedules, coordinate with client teams, format and refine documents in InDesign, maintain templates and resources, and support project-specific marketing materials such as qualifications packages, presentations, resumes, project sheets, and capabilities statements. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and can move comfortably between strategy, writing, coordination, and design. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role includes regular interaction with internal team members and client contacts. This position reports to the Director of Building Design and Construction. Responsibilities · Support and manage RFQ/RFP responses, proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and related marketing materials · Review pursuit requirements and organize compliance checklists, schedules, assignments, and deliverables · Write, edit, and refine proposal content, including firm overviews, project descriptions, resumes, approach narratives, and supporting materials · Coordinate with client teams, technical staff, consultants, and internal Wonderstruct team members to gather content and keep deadlines on track · Design and format proposal documents and marketing materials using Adobe InDesign and related tools · Maintain templates, project information, resumes, boilerplate content, and other reusable marketing resources · Support multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously · Contribute to process improvements, internal standards, and resource organization · Support social media or other marketing efforts as needed Qualifications · 3+ years of experience in AEC marketing, proposals, communications, or a related field · AEC industry experience strongly preferred · Experience supporting or managing the full pursuit lifecycle, from RFP review through final submission · Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; experience with Figma is a plus · Exceptional writing, editing, organization, and communication skills · Ability to manage multiple deadlines, client needs, and deliverables at once · Strong attention to detail and understanding of proposal compliance · Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative · Strong problem-solving instincts and ability to adapt when priorities shift · Social media experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Full-Time Salary: $55,000–$85,000, depending on experience Hourly / Contract Rate: $45/hour Benefits include healthcare coverage or a stipend if coverage is waived, 401(k) with employer match, 12-week paid parental leave, monthly coworking stipend, Flex Fridays, performance-based raises and bonuses, and a 1-month paid sabbatical every 5 years.
