Our ideal candidate is someone who can answer a call at 2 a.m., calmly solve a problem, and fall right back to sleep!

This is a primarily REMOTE position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home during assigned on-call hours. However, you must be willing and able to step in and provide hands-on client care when caregiver coverage cannot be secured.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to incoming calls from clients, families, and caregivers during assigned evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

• Manage caregiver call-outs, scheduling changes, and last-minute staffing needs

• Coordinate replacement coverage to ensure continuity of care

• Fill in for caregiver shifts when alternative coverage cannot be secured

• Provide hands-on, non-medical personal care when covering client shifts, following individualized care plans

• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, patience, and compassion

• Troubleshoot concerns, think independently, and escalate situations when appropriate

• Accurately document calls, scheduling changes, and important updates

• Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, families, and management

Requirements

• Prior professional experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or PCA required

• Experience in home care scheduling, staffing, customer service, or coordination preferred

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes when needed

• Physically able to assist with personal care, mobility, and transfers

• Reliable phone, internet access, and a quiet environment for handling calls

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to remain available and responsive throughout assigned on-call shifts

• CPR certification or willingness to obtain

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Familiarity with WellSky or RingCentral is a plus

Position Details

Job Type: Part-time / PRN, On-Call

Location: Primarily REMOTE, with in-person client care required when coverage cannot be secured

Schedule: Assigned after-hours, overnight, weekend, and holiday rotations
