We Are Hiring: AI Consultant We are looking for an experienced AI Consultant who can help Peace Through Trade identify where artificial intelligence can create the most value across our organization and ecosystem. This is not a role for someone who simply knows how to use ChatGPT. We need someone who understands modern AI deeply enough to evaluate our existing systems, identify practical opportunities, recommend the right tools and architecture, and help turn those ideas into working solutions. You should be equally comfortable talking strategy with leadership and working directly with developers to implement AI-powered systems. Your Mission Your mission will be to help Peace Through Trade build a clear and practical AI strategy across our technology, operations, data, marketing, customer experience, and broader ecosystem. You will evaluate where AI should be used, where it should not be used, and how it can be implemented securely and responsibly. The goal is not to add AI everywhere. The goal is to find the areas where AI can genuinely make our systems smarter, our team more efficient, and our products more useful. What You’ll Do Review our existing technology stack, workflows, products, and internal processes to identify high-value AI opportunities Develop a practical AI roadmap for the organization Recommend AI models, platforms, tools, APIs, and infrastructure based on specific business needs Design and help implement AI-powered workflows, assistants, agents, and automation Work with large language models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and open-source models Evaluate when to use hosted models versus private or self-hosted AI infrastructure Help design AI features within PAXIS and other Peace Through Trade products Explore AI applications for commerce, payments, global trade, sustainability, environmental data, and government use cases Build or advise on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge bases, vector databases, and internal AI search Connect AI systems with internal databases, APIs, CRMs, analytics platforms, and other business tools Help automate repetitive internal processes across marketing, customer support, operations, research, and administration Advise on AI agents and multi-step autonomous workflows where appropriate Improve prompt design, model performance, reliability, and output quality Evaluate AI-generated content and workflows for accuracy, hallucination risk, security, and scalability Establish best practices around AI governance, data privacy, access controls, and responsible use Work closely with developers, leadership, marketing, operations, and external partners Help our team stay current as AI models, tools, and capabilities continue to evolve rapidly What You Bring 3+ years of experience working with artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, or AI-powered software Strong hands-on experience with modern large language models and generative AI Experience working with APIs from platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or similar providers Strong understanding of prompt engineering, context management, tool calling, agents, and AI workflow design Experience building or advising on RAG systems and vector databases Understanding of AI architecture, model selection, inference costs, latency, and scalability Ability to connect AI systems with APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and internal business systems Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other languages commonly used in AI development Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible AI implementation Ability to take a business problem and determine whether AI is actually the right solution Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical teams Ability to work independently and move quickly from idea to implementation Experience with blockchain, Web3, fintech, government technology, sustainability, or regulated industries is a strong advantage Experience deploying production AI systems is highly preferred
