About the Role
Jeeves is seeking an AI Engineer to help integrate artificial intelligence into its financial platform. The role focuses on building and deploying production-ready AI systems that support intelligent spend categorization, anomaly detection, and LLM-powered workflows for finance teams. This is an engineering-focused position rather than a research role. You will work with backend engineers, data scientists, and product teams to move AI solutions from prototypes into production, with an emphasis on reliability, observability, cost efficiency, and practical business value. You will also contribute to the development of AI engineering practices as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Build and deploy AI-powered features that process real financial data for business customers. Develop and maintain LLM pipelines for financial workflows and related platform capabilities. Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. Operate and improve machine learning systems in production environments. Develop AI solutions for use cases such as intelligent spend categorization, anomaly detection, and finance workflow automation. Collaborate with backend engineers, data scientists, and product teams to take AI solutions from prototype to production. Improve the reliability, observability, and cost efficiency of deployed AI systems. Evaluate AI outputs and address the risks associated with incorrect results in financial contexts. Help establish and improve AI engineering practices as the platform and company grow. Required Experience Experience building LLM pipelines. Experience designing RAG architectures. Experience operating machine learning systems in production. A strong focus on building reliable, observable, and cost-efficient AI systems. An understanding of the importance of accuracy and reliability when AI systems process financial data.
