AI Training Software Engineer
The work You will create reinforcement learning environments that test whether AI models can solve complex software engineering tasks. The environments will cover bug fixes, feature implementations, code refactoring, and performance optimization. You will also design Model Context Protocol tool interactions, build reproducible setups, and create deterministic checks and reference solutions so model performance can be measured accurately.
- Build environments for coding tasks such as debugging, feature development, refactoring, and performance improvement.
- Design interactions with MCP tools and require AI agents to find and reason over information from real MCP servers.
- Create deterministic verification and golden reference solutions for reliable evaluation.
- Measure both tool-use ability and software engineering skill in reproducible environments.
- Work with a remote team and maintain high-quality output standards.

How it works Apply on OpenTrain with your resume, then complete the application on the hiring site. About AI training work AI training is the human work behind systems that learn from examples, feedback, and tests. Software engineers help build coding tasks and evaluation systems that show whether an AI model can reason, use tools, and produce reliable solutions, which is why specialized engineering experience is valuable.
