Role: Apigee Engineer Location: Remote Exp: 10+ years $140k to $150k Full Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Apigee Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain secure, scalable API solutions using Google Cloud Apigee. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API management, API security, integration, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments. Must-Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Apigee, Apigee X, or Apigee Edge. Experience developing and managing API proxies, shared flows, and reusable API policies. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and backend system integrations. Experience implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and TLS/SSL. Knowledge of API traffic management, rate limiting, caching, and spike arrest policies. Experience with JavaScript or Python scripting for API development and customization. Familiarity with API lifecycle management, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git. Experience troubleshooting API performance, connectivity, authentication, and production issues. Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
