Artificial Intelligence Engineer

An established financial services company is looking for a software engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will design and deploy intelligent systems that operate autonomously within digital environments to drive innovation and operational excellence. This role focuses on solving complex business challenges through intelligent automation and advanced analytics in a collaborative environment. What you'll be doing Design and implement autonomous agents using large language models and decision-making frameworks. Develop architectures that support interactivity and complex task completion across digital workflows. Engineer and manage context through prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Optimize system behavior through feedback loops, reinforcement learning, and safety guardrail mechanisms. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to integrate automation tools into existing applications. What we're looking for Hands-on experience building autonomous systems using LLMs and modern AI infrastructure. Strong software engineering skills with the ability to implement planning algorithms and agent orchestration. Proficiency in managing vector databases and embedding documents for semantically relevant information retrieval. Ability to maintain thorough documentation of logic, design decisions, and system dependencies. Proactive problem-solver comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies.
