The Assistant Manager takes an active role in the total management of a Jersey Mike's store. In conjunction with the General Manager they share responsibility for:

Requirements & Skills
- Restaurant Supervisory Experience
- Must be reliable; show up, ready to work, every scheduled shift
- Strong interpersonal relations, communication and organizational skills, leadership, dependability, maturity
- Reliable Transportation
- Sense of Urgency: speed, speed, speed
- Must be able to work some nights and weekends
- Professional Appearance
- Ability to work 4 hours straight, on your feet, without a break
- Ability to frequently lift 10-15 pounds
Experience:
- Restaurant: 3+ years (Preferred)
- Restaurant Management: 2+ years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Food Handler's or Manager's Food Safety (Preferred)
Restaurant supervisory experience required; 3+ years restaurant experience preferred; 2+ years management preferred; food safety certification preferred; reliable transportation; ability to work nights/weekends and stand for 4 hours; lift 10-15 lbs.
