Job Description Duties & Responsibilities Job Title: Associate Business Analyst/ Business Analyst Department: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Team Prepared By : Scott Isaacs Date : October, 2026 Role Overview and Job Description Join a dynamic consulting team where you'll interface with LabVantage internal clients (customers) to understand user business processes and gather their functional requirements and design needed for internal technology systems. You will document system processes and procedures for requirements and functionality needs. Work with members of the Professional Services team to analyze and resolve business and technical operational requirements and issues. As an Associate/Business Analyst, you’ll translate business needs into functional requirements to deliver foundational internal technology solutions. What You Will Do • Lead customer discovery sessions and requirements workshops. • Gather, develop, and document key operational business requirements. Transform user requirements into functional requirements. • Analyze business processes and define solution requirements. • Preparation of Functional Requirements Specification (FRS). Ensure that proposed FRS and design align with the level of effort (LOE) ordered by customers for this program. • Partner with project managers, consultants, technical teams and third-party business solution partners to deliver successful implementations. • Provide input to the Project Manager on any change orders requested by the customer. • Support testing, data migration, user adoption, UAT and go-live activities. • Execute the Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) with the customer, and document all exceptions, and coordinate a resolution plan with the implantation team. • Work with the Project Manager to ensure that the developed configuration is handed off to the LabVantage support and IT team. • Build trusted customer relationships and drive project success. What You Bring • Bachelors’ degree plus 1-4 years of experience interfacing with customers in a business consulting environment • Experience in business analysis, consulting, or enterprise software implementations. • Strong communication, technical documentation and stakeholder management skills. • Experience with ERP, CRM, or business applications; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus. • Exposure to project management is a plus too.
