Duties and Responsibilities: Defend insureds and corporate clients in New York Labor Law, construction defect, general liability, premises, and transportation cases. Manage matters from investigation through discovery, depositions, expert retention, motion practice, mediation, and trial. Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and dispositive motions. Collaborate with partners on case strategy, risk assessment, and client counseling. Take increasing ownership of files with direct client contact. Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates): JD and active NY bar. 4–8+ years of insurance defense, NY Labor Law, construction, or complex civil litigation experience.
