Audio Expert – Music Transcription & Polyphonic Analysis Role Type: Contractor Location: Global, Fully Remote Schedule: Flexible, ~15 hours/week Role Summary We are seeking skilled Audio Experts with strong music transcription, polyphonic analysis, music notation, and Python skills to support an AI training project.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe polyphonic recordings into accurate musical notation.
- Separate and identify SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) vocal lines.
- Identify pitches, rhythms, durations, rests, and re-articulations.
- Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling.
- Generate and manipulate MusicXML files.
- Use Python and audio-analysis tools to support transcription workflows.
- Validate transcriptions through musical and technical review.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in choral music, arranging, composition, performance, score preparation, or audio transcription.

- Strong attention to musical and technical accuracy.
