Audit Senior – Nonprofit Sector

A growing regional CPA firm is seeking an experienced Audit Senior with strong nonprofit audit expertise to join its expanding team. This role reports directly to the Audit Manager and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse nonprofit client portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Execute audits for a variety of clients, with a strong focus on nonprofit organizations. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements. Coordinate engagement scheduling, staffing, and workflow. Perform nonprofit assurance audits and compliance-related engagements. Required Qualifications: CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification. 3–7 years of public accounting / CPA firm experience. Significant experience auditing 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and endowments . Nonprofit entities should represent approximately 70% or more of your audit engagements. Experience with A-133 compliance audits. Strong nonprofit assurance and financial reporting knowledge.
