Job Title: Automotive Digital Key & Vehicle Access Software Engineer Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to develop and integrate Digital Key and Vehicle Access software for connected vehicles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Automotive Digital Key, BLE/NFC connectivity, embedded C/C++ programming, Classic AUTOSAR, and FreeRTOS.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate Automotive Digital Key and vehicle access software.
- Support vehicle locking, unlocking, passive entry, and vehicle start functions.
- Integrate BLE, NFC, and UWB connectivity with automotive ECUs.
- Develop embedded software using C/C++, FreeRTOS, and Classic AUTOSAR.
- Implement secure device authentication and digital key management.
- Debug and troubleshoot ECU-level software and communication issues.
- Support functional safety, software integration, testing, and validation.
- Participate in CCC Digital Key compliance and certification activities.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Automotive Digital Key and vehicle access systems.
- Strong knowledge of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and NFC; UWB experience is a plus.
- Experience with embedded C/C++ programming.
- Strong experience with Classic AUTOSAR and/or FreeRTOS.
- Knowledge of automotive ECUs and communication protocols such as CAN/CAN-FD.
- Understanding of ISO 26262, ASIL, and functional safety.
- Experience in embedded software debugging, integration, and testing.
- Knowledge of Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) Digital Key specifications is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- CCC Digital Key certification and interoperability testing.
- UWB ranging and localization.
- Automotive cybersecurity and secure key management.
- Tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Lauterbach/TRACE32, and Git.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically 5+ years of automotive embedded software development experience.
- Experience developing and integrating automotive ECU software.
