Remote Position
AVP, Data Strategy & Analytics
🌍 Remote · United States
💼 Full-time
Position Description & Requirements
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO: Radiology Partners is building an enterprise Data Strategy & Analytics function, and we are hiring an Associate Vice President to serve as the deputy leader of that team. The AVP is accountable for day-to-day delivery across analytics, data products, and for translating strategy into shipped, trusted solutions. The AVP will co-design the operating model, prioritization, and delivery standards directly with senior stakeholders. This is a player-coach role: you will set direction and standards, and you will also stay close enough to the work to be credible with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. Agentic AI and modern AI tools are the default working method on this team. Our charge is to turn data into decisions. The AVP carries that mandate across the team and is a primary point of contact for executive and operational leadership. The role offers high visibility, direct exposure to executive leadership, and a clear path to broader data and analytics leadership. AVP, DATA STRATEGY & ANALYTICS - POSITION SUMMARY:- Partner with the VP to set the team’s strategy, operating model, and delivery standards, and own execution against them.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into a prioritized portfolio of analytics, data product, and data engineering work.
- Establish the cadences, intake, and prioritization mechanisms that let the team move at the speed of the Practice.
- Own end-to-end delivery across analytics, data products, data engineering, and data operations, holding the bar on quality, speed, and trust. Remove blockers, sequence dependencies, and make the trade-off calls that keep multiple workstreams shipping in parallel.
- Stay technically credible; able to review solution designs, question a data model, and pressure-test an approach with the team.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for executive, operational, finance, and clinical leadership; build trust and manage expectations.
- Co-design solutions and quality bars directly with business leaders rather than waiting for fully specified requirements.
- Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both technical teams and non-technical executives.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, or data engineering, including several years leading and scaling teams; experience in healthcare, multi-site, or other complex operating environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of building or scaling an analytics or data function and shipping solutions that changed business decisions. Hands-on credibility: strong command of SQL and modern BI, and working familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks) sufficient to lead technical teams.
- Demonstrated use of modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent) as a working method.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity. AVP is expected to co-shape the operating model with stakeholders.
- Executive-level communication and presentations.
- Able to move fluidly between a technical design review and a conversation with senior operational or financial leadership.
- Familiarity with healthcare data (clinical workflows, revenue cycle, provider credentialing, operational workflows) or a strong, demonstrable willingness to learn quickly.
- Competitive Benefits package – Eligibility starts the month after hire, with tiered options to choose from.
- Compensation Reviews, Career Growth Opportunities
- Flexible Remote Schedules - Nashville, TN Preferred
- Generous PTO Plans and Paid Holidays Proudly
- Certified as a Great Place to Work for Five Consecutive Years
