Azure Cloud Network Engineer

• Manage and support Azure networking environments and existing network deployments.

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls.
• Manage and support Zscaler network security solutions.
• Work with Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and network connectivity.
• Support and troubleshoot Azure Load Balancers.
• Perform basic routing and DNS configuration, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Review, validate, and implement firewall rule changes based on established standards and patterns.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or similar AI productivity platforms
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across Azure environments.
• Perform firewall rule checks, updates, testing, and post-change validation.
• Monitor and maintain existing network configurations and ensure operational stability.
• Collaborate with the dedicated Security Team when security-related changes or issues require coordination.
• Follow established architecture patterns, deployment standards, and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident resolution, change management, and ongoing network support activities.
• Document network changes, configurations, and troubleshooting activities as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking.
• Practical experience administering and maintaining Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Zscaler administration/support.
• Good understanding of:
• Azure VNet and subnet concepts
• Routing and route tables
• DNS fundamentals
• Load balancing
• Network security rules and firewall policies
• Experience reviewing, modifying, and validating firewall rules.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud networking environments.
• Ability to work with existing network architectures and established deployment patterns.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with infrastructure and security teams.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: Remote
