B2B | SAP BPC Consultant Position: SAP BPC Consultant (Business Planning and Consolidation) Location: Remote (Europe) Contract Type: Contractor / Permanent Experience: 5+ years Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP BPC Consultant to support the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP BPC solutions for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements related to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation. Design, develop, and configure SAP BPC applications and models. Implement and maintain planning, reporting, and consolidation processes within SAP BPC. Develop business rules, calculation logic, data validations, and process chains. Integrate SAP BPC with SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other source systems. Create and optimize reports, input forms, and management dashboards. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Provide user training and documentation. Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure business requirements are met. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with SAP BPC (NetWeaver and/or Embedded). Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes. Solid knowledge of SAP BW, data models, dimensions, and ETL processes. Experience with Script Logic, Business Rules, Data Manager Packages, and BAdIs. Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles. Experience in system integration and data reconciliation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance. Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting. Experience in international projects and multicultural environments. SAP certifications related to BPC, BW, or Finance. Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Languages English: Professional working proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.
