Role Description The Bag Repair Specialist is responsible for repairing and restoring a variety of handbags across brands to meet Cobbli’s quality standards. Day-to-day tasks might include performing stitching and hardware repairs, cleaning and conditioning bags, performing color restoration work, and ensuring each item is returned in the best possible condition. The specialist will maintain clear documentation of work performed, communicate with the operations and support teams aobut repairs, and follow Cobbli’s guidelines for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This is a contract role and is fully remote, with repair work performed at the specialist’s own equipped workspace. The Bag Repair Specialist is expected to manage time efficiently, meet turnaround deadlines, and contribute to a consistently positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Ability to deliver high levels of Customer Satisfaction through careful workmanship and reliable service. Hands-on experience with Maintenance & Repair of bags, including stitching, zippers, clasps, straps, and color restoration. Clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with the Cobbli team and handling customer notes and instructions. Proficiency with common repair tools and materials (e.g., sewing machines, hand-stitching tools). Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple repair orders, and meet agreed turnaround times. Previous experience in bag or leather is required. Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to safety and handling standards.
