This is an ideal role for a strong writer who can move seamlessly between long-form articles, website copy, SEO content, and social media while maintaining an authentic, human voice.
What You'll Do
Write engaging, SEO-friendly content for blogs, websites, landing pages, and other digital platforms Translate complex medical and behavioral health topics into clear, user-friendly content Research, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, readability, and brand consistency Write compelling social copy for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms Collaborate with marketing and content teams on campaigns and content strategy Incorporate SEO and GEO best practices to improve organic and AI-search visibility Adapt writing style across different audiences, platforms, and brand voices What We're Looking For 2–4 years of professional writing or copywriting experience Strong portfolio of published digital content Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Strong understanding of SEO content strategy Knowledge of APA style Ability to make complicated subjects easy to understand Strong storytelling instincts and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently Preferred Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field Experience writing about mental health, addiction, substance use disorders, healthcare, or behavioral health Experience optimizing content for both traditional search engines and generative/AI search We're Looking for a Writer - Not Just Content We value thoughtful, original writing.
