Legal Billing Specialist (100% Remote) Top Ranked National Law Firm Base Salary: $75,000 We’re partnering with a highly regarded national law firm to hire an experienced Legal Billing Specialist for a 100% remote opportunity. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong law firm billing and e-billing experience who wants to join a stable, well-established firm with a collaborative team and long-term growth potential. The Opportunity The Legal Billing Specialist will manage the full billing cycle for an assigned group of attorneys and clients. You’ll work closely with attorneys, finance leadership, and other billing professionals to ensure invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant with client requirements. This position is 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full-cycle billing process from pre-bill through final invoice Prepare, edit, and finalize complex client invoices Handle electronic billing (e-billing) through various client billing platforms Review and follow client billing guidelines and requirements Submit invoices through e-billing portals and monitor their status Research and resolve rejected invoices, billing discrepancies, and other issues Make billing adjustments, transfers, and corrections as needed Work directly with attorneys to review and finalize monthly billing Maintain accurate billing records and client/matter information Assist with billing inquiries and reporting as needed What We’re Looking For Previous law firm billing experience Strong full-cycle billing experience Hands-on e-billing experience Experience with 3E/Elite OR Aderant required Experience working with electronic billing platforms Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines Comfortable communicating directly with attorneys and internal stakeholders Ability to work independently in a remote environment Why Consider This Opportunity? 100% remote Join a respected, established national law firm Stable organization with a strong professional reputation Collaborative and supportive billing team Opportunity for long-term career growth Work with sophisticated attorneys and clients Competitive compensation and benefits
