Essential Job Functions:- Processing:
- Complies financial and other needed data to complete loan file.
- Analyze loan applications, assess creditworthiness, review AUS/Guidelines, and examine title commitments and fees.
- Request the supporting documentation, such as appraisals, verification of employment, or the verification of deposits from the appropriate parties.
- Evaluate loan applications for reasonableness and, if needed, escalate files for further evaluation.
- Review files for completeness before submission to Underwriting.
- Obtains documentation needed to clear conditions if required.
- Submit the approved files to Closing.
- Prioritizes workflow so loans close on time.
- Prepare and send the approval and denial letters. Direct the client to the Loan Officer or other Licensed employee to clarify and or answer any questions.
- Records data on the status of loans, including the number of new applications and loans approved, canceled, or denied.
- Communication:
- Provide excellent customer service to borrowers, loan officers, vendors, and other interested parties.
- Communicate with the Loan Officer and borrower to obtain any missing documentation required for the loan process. Additionally, communicate with the title company, appraiser, and other relevant vendors to ensure timely completion of their respective tasks.
- Special Projects as needed.

- 1+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data.
- Demonstrated experience effectively managing relationships with internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience researching information, problem solving and making solid business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience producing accurate and detailed work on multiple projects under time pressure.
- 1+ years experience in the mortgage industry.
- Demonstrated experience using Encompass360.
- Demonstrated experience working with potential clients/borrowers in a sales environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer oriented position.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of current business acumen.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending processes, procedures and regulations.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Encompass.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of a variety of loan programs including Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA and secondary marketing guidelines to manage complex loan level issues.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage-related terms, such as escrow, taxes, closing documents and insurance.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of processing and closing functions and a general understanding of the entire real estate lending process.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of desktop underwriting programs.
- High School or GED
- This position is primarily an in office position. Normal office environment.

1+ years mortgage industry experience, Encompass360 proficiency, knowledge of loan programs and regulations, ability to analyze data and manage relationships, high school diploma or GED preferred.
