Breast Imaging Radiologist (AI Evaluation) - $300/hr

Role Overview Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to build rigorous evaluations of how well artificial intelligence reads real imaging studies. We are hiring highly specialized, fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologists (MDs/DOs) to establish the clinical reference standards that will train and test frontier AI models. Please note: This is NOT image labeling. Your clinical judgment will serve as the reference standard to evaluate AI-drafted reads, marking what is inaccurate, unsupported, or unsafe. ⚠️ STRICT REQUIREMENTS & EXCLUSIONS: You must be a current resident of the United States. Residents of California are strictly excluded and cannot be considered for this role. We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates for this independent contractor position. What You’ll Do Read de-identified screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI studies to record reference findings. Apply structured systems and measurement conventions used in daily practice (e.g., BI-RADS). Review AI-generated reads to flag errors that could compromise patient safety. Write structured rationales focusing on clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity. Candidate Profile Education: MD or DO from a medical school in the United States. Board Certification: Active certification in ABR Diagnostic Radiology (through an ABMS member board or the AOA). Specialization: Must have completed a Breast Imaging or Women's Imaging Fellowship. Licensure: Active, unrestricted US medical license. Experience: Currently practicing and reading breast imaging in the US, with at least 5 years of independent practice post-training. Skills: Clear written communication and meticulous attention to clinical detail. Engagement Details & Compensation Work Structure: 100% remote, independent contractor position. Payments: Processed securely and weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
