Position: Senior Business Analyst Location: Remote Contract: Initially 3 Months Expected Duration: Through the end of the year Work Arrangement: 100% Remote Position Overview We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to support the strategy and planning of two key initiatives: a Workflow Platform and a Business Intelligence (BI) Platform . This role is focused on strategic business analysis, platform capabilities, process improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and helping define the future-state strategy and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, needs, and pain points.
- Analyze current-state business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Define future-state processes, workflows, and platform capabilities.
- Support the development of strategy and roadmap for a Workflow Platform.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and user stories.
- Support Business Intelligence platform strategy, including reporting, analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and data requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, Developers, Data/BI teams, and other technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Identify and document business processes, use cases, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize requirements based on business value, user needs, strategic objectives, dependencies, and feasibility.
- Help define MVP capabilities and longer-term platform capabilities.
- Support roadmap development and strategic planning through the end of the year.
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation, process standardization, and improved business intelligence.
- Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
Required/Preferred Experience
- Strong experience as a
Senior/Seasoned Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role .
- Strong business analysis and requirements-management experience.
- Experience with workflow/process analysis and future-state process design.
- Experience supporting platform strategy, product strategy, or roadmap development.
- Experience with BI, analytics, reporting, dashboards, KPIs, or data-related initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Ability to translate business problems into actionable platform capabilities and requirements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization is preferred.
