Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Systems Analyst – Life Sciences. The person in this role collaborates with stakeholders in life sciences organizations to understand business processes, gather and refine requirements, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include mapping current and future-state workflows, performing gap analysis, and working closely with architects and developers to ensure that Salesforce and custom solutions align with business goals and regulatory expectations. The Business Systems Analyst prepares documentation, use cases, and user stories, supports configuration and testing, and helps validate solutions against business requirements. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, participating in client workshops, and contributing to continuous improvement of analytical and delivery practices.
Qualifications
Strong Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis skills to connect business needs with technology solutions. Proficient Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements from diverse stakeholders. Solid Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess process performance, and recommend improvements. Experience working with or supporting life sciences, pharma, biotech, or clinical research domains. Familiarity with Salesforce platforms or similar enterprise systems; experience with CRM, CPQ, or industry solutions is an advantage. Ability to create clear process maps, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business) or equivalent practical experience. Experience with software development lifecycles, agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, and testing support.
