About the position We are looking for Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) to provide Peer Support Services in the Gaston County Area. Peer Support Services is a community-based service working with adults with chronic/severe and persistent mental health issues who are in need of housing in the community. The goal of this service is to assist adults in transitioning back into the community and to support them in maintaining their housing.
Responsibilities
- Provide Peer Support Services in the Gaston County Area.
- Assist adults with chronic/severe and persistent mental health issues in transitioning back into the community.
- Support adults in maintaining their housing.
- Join weekly team meetings in the office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of community-based experience
- CPSS Certification
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle
