Chief Financial Officer

Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Star Agriwarehousing and Collateral Management Limited. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting, monitor cash flow, manage capital allocation, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to leadership and key stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the preparation of financial statements, maintaining internal controls, aligning finance activities with business strategy, and supporting decision-making with high-quality analysis. The role also involves managing relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies, implementing risk management frameworks, and driving financial efficiency and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital management. Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with experience overseeing statutory and management reports. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, support strategic decisions, and evaluate business performance. Extensive experience in corporate finance leadership, ideally within warehousing, agriculture, logistics, or collateral management sectors. Proven track record in risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Ability to lead remote teams, collaborate across functions, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly. Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent relevant degree. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and comfort working in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
