Location: United States Workplace Type: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Executive Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Position OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy, planning, reporting, and resource management. This role partners with executive leadership to support business growth, maintain financial stability, improve financial performance, and guide strategic decision-making. The CFO will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial risk assessment while ensuring accurate reporting and effective financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and long-term growth plans. Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Monitor financial performance, operating expenses, and resource allocation to support informed executive decisions. Establish and maintain appropriate financial controls, accounting procedures, and reporting standards. Evaluate financial risks and recommend strategies to strengthen financial stability and operational efficiency. Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, investment decisions, and growth opportunities. Coordinate tax planning, audits, and regulatory reporting with qualified external professionals as required. Lead financial planning processes and support the development of scalable financial operations. QualificationsSignificant experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or executive financial management. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial risk management. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership. Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and leadership capabilities. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an advanced degree or CPA qualification is an advantage.
