Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Propre et Net 35 will provide strategic financial leadership, oversee all finance and accounting activities, and support long-term business planning. This contract, remote role includes managing budgeting and forecasting, supervising the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The CFO will monitor cash flow, analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining internal controls, supporting compliance with relevant regulations, partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives, and presenting clear financial insights to guide decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong finance and financial planning skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Demonstrated ability to prepare, interpret, and review financial statements and related documentation. Expertise in financial reporting, including developing accurate, timely reports for leadership and stakeholders. Advanced analytical skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions. Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably as CFO or equivalent. Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial topics clearly. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is an asset. Experience in service-oriented or growth-stage organizations is beneficial.
