Role Description The Chief Product Officer (CPO) is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for defining and driving the product vision and roadmap across RAISE Labs’ research platforms, tools, and services. This role oversees end-to-end product lifecycle management—from discovery and strategy to execution, launch, and continuous improvement—ensuring alignment with the lab’s mission and research priorities. The CPO collaborates closely with research, engineering, operations, and outreach teams to translate complex AI and scientific innovations into scalable, user-centered products for industry, academia, and the broader AI community. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting product goals and KPIs, prioritizing feature development, guiding product and project teams, and establishing processes for data-informed decision-making. The CPO is also expected to represent the product function externally, gather stakeholder feedback, and foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and ethical AI product development.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Product Strategy and Product Management, including defining vision, roadmap, and success metrics for complex technology or AI-driven products. Strong Project Management skills with experience coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Proven Team Leadership and Cross-functional Team Leadership capabilities, with a track record of guiding diverse product, research, and engineering teams toward shared outcomes. Experience building and scaling products in AI, data science, or deep tech domains; familiarity with research workflows and academic or industrial R&D environments is highly beneficial. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear product requirements and user experiences; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with distributed, international teams and external partners. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, Business, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
