Role Description The Chief Program Officer (CPO) is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of key programs across KeyRock Tech. On a day-to-day basis, the CPO will align program objectives with company strategy, manage cross-functional program roadmaps, and ensure milestones are delivered on time and within scope. This role will coordinate with product, engineering, operations, and finance teams to define priorities, allocate resources, and monitor performance metrics. The CPO will establish program governance frameworks, lead risk assessments, and implement continuous improvement practices to enhance efficiency and impact. The role also involves mentoring program managers, facilitating clear communication among stakeholders, and preparing regular reports and executive updates on program outcomes.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs or portfolios in a technology-driven environment. Strong skills in strategic planning, program governance, and performance measurement, with the ability to translate vision into executable plans. Proficiency in resource management, risk identification and mitigation, and process improvement methodologies. Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, operations, and executive leadership, fostering alignment and accountability. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present program status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, structured manner. Experience managing and developing program or project management teams, including coaching, feedback, and succession planning. Comfort working in a remote-first environment, with strong skills in virtual collaboration tools and distributed team coordination. Relevant academic background in business, technology management, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial. Prior experience in a senior leadership role within a tech, SaaS, or digital product organization is highly advantageous.
