Key Responsibilities

Manage civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and develop case strategies. Manage discovery, depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations. Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with applicable court rules and procedures.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar. Experience handling civil litigation matters. Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting. Excellent communication and client-management skills. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $140,000–$190,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
