Do people tell you you're easy to talk to? That's the main skill for this job. I'm looking for someone who loves meeting people, remembers their names, and gets a kick out of helping a small business owner finally win. I'm Col. I own Focus Media House, a video and marketing agency in Utah. We make ads for local businesses and run them on Facebook and Instagram. The creative side is handled. What I need is a person who builds the relationships that bring new clients in, and who helps me grow the whole company. Here's what your week looks like. You find local business owners who could use more customers. You reach out and start real conversations. You set up calls with me, and we work through them together. Then you stay close to those clients, so they feel looked after and keep sending people our way. It's an easy thing to offer. We film a business's first ads and run them for 2 weeks before they pay us anything. Most owners have never heard an offer like that. This isn't a "sit in the corner and dial" job. You'd be next to me on the big stuff: how we find clients, how we treat them, and where the company goes. As we grow, this role grows. The people who build this with me get to co-own it, and we put that in writing. We don't pay a salary here. You earn from the clients you bring in, and as we have success, there's a lot of money to be made in this seat. You'd be a great fit if you're warm, organized, and curious. If you've worked as a server, in retail, as a nanny, a coach, a recruiter, or in a salon, or you've run a small side business, you already know how to make people feel good about saying yes.
