Clinical Pharmacist I - Medicare Part D / Prior Auth (Remote | M-F, 8am-5pm Pacific)

For our client, we are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support Medicare Part D utilization processes in a managed care setting, with a strong focus on prior authorization, coverage determinations, and appeals. The pharmacist will also contribute to medication review activities, quality improvement efforts, and broader clinical pharmacy operations that help support member care and appropriate medication use. This is a remote opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and occasional rotational weekend coverage. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $113,332 – $169,999 annually

Responsibilities

Review and render Medicare Part D coverage determinations and appeals Conduct comprehensive medication reviews for medication therapy management program members Participate in pharmacy quality improvement projects Maintain records of clinical reviews and coverage determinations Support additional managed care pharmacy functions and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in at least one U.S. state Minimum of one year of experience in health plan, PBM, or managed care pharmacy Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related health science field Preferred: PharmD, Master's, or PhD in Pharmacy Experience with Medicare Part D operations and clinical decision-making
