Duties Work existing leads the agency will provide Engage in outside sales efforts to identify and develop new commercial insurance clients through prospecting and networking. Conduct thorough client needs analysis to recommend appropriate property casualty, health, life, and benefits insurance solutions. Negotiate policy terms, coverage options, and premiums with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and optimal protection. Build strong customer relationships by providing ongoing support, policy reviews, and personalized service. Manage sales administration tasks including CRM system updates, quote preparation, and documentation of client interactions. Stay informed on insurance regulations, industry trends, and product knowledge to advise clients accurately. Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to secure competitive quotes and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Proven experience in outside sales within the insurance industry or related retail sales environment. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse client populations. Knowledge of commercial insurance products including property casualty, health, life, and benefits administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for sales tracking and client management. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships. Analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend suitable coverage options. Familiarity with insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements is a plus.
