Communications Professional - internal communications Remote - 100% Start Date: 11/16/2026 - 12/31/2026 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Communications Professional to support internal communications initiatives across the organization. This role will partner with the Corporate Communications team to develop and execute communication strategies, campaigns, and content that support business priorities and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, experience in executive and organizational change communications, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute internal communication plans and campaigns aligned with business priorities. Create communication strategies, audience segmentation plans, channel recommendations, communication cascades, and measurement plans. Draft and edit executive communications, leadership messages, talking points, FAQs, and supporting materials. Develop organizational change communications, employee announcements, business updates, and employee engagement campaigns. Create video scripts and other communication materials as needed. Tailor messaging to different audiences while maintaining consistent brand voice and tone. Collaborate with business stakeholders and Corporate Communications team members to support organizational initiatives. Track and evaluate communication effectiveness and campaign performance. Support special projects, events, and other communication needs as assigned. Follow corporate policies, including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

Required Qualifications

Experience planning and executing internal communications campaigns at the enterprise, department, or organizational level. Experience supporting executive and leadership communications. Experience developing communications for organizational change and sensitive employee topics. Healthcare industry experience. Knowledge of government-sponsored healthcare programs, including Medicare and Medicaid. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with knowledge of AP Style. Experience developing audience-focused communication strategies and multichannel campaigns. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT for content development and communication planning. Experience with intranet platforms, including content publishing and performance measurement. Experience in scriptwriting, video production, video editing, or visual communications. Experience supporting communications for large, geographically dispersed workforces.
