Pay: From $45,000.00 per year Job description Are you a natural connector who loves inspiring others and can also close the deal? YFU USA is seeking a Community Manager (CM) to lead, train, and motivate a national network of Local Coordinators (LCs) who recruit and support volunteer host families across the country. For 75 years, YFU has helped teens from around the world experience life in the U.S. through intercultural exchange. As a Community Manager, you’ll help make those life-changing matches happen - one family, one student, one story at a time. The Role: Creating Lifelong Connections As a YFU Community Manager, you’ll do more than manage, you’ll build a movement. You’ll recruit, train, and mentor a nationwide team of Local Coordinators who inspire families to open their homes and hearts to exchange students. You’ll teach your team to communicate YFU’s mission with confidence, lead with empathy, and turn interest into “yes.” You’ll also ensure that every family and student receives the support and guidance needed for a safe, meaningful experience that meets U.S. Department of State standards. This role blends relationship-building, coaching, and sales. This position is perfect for someone who’s equally energized by people and performance. What You’ll Do Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Local Coordinators (LCs) nationwide Coach your team in outreach, storytelling, and conversion - turning curiosity into commitment Build relationships in schools, community groups, and online spaces to expand YFU’s reach Lead with data, celebrate wins, and troubleshoot challenges with creativity and positivity Ensure quality, compliance, and consistency in family and student support About You You’re an independent, goal-driven professional who thrives on connection, motivation, and measurable results. You know that educating is part of selling, and that both are more powerful when rooted in purpose.
