Role Description Accredited Phoenix area online college seeks course editor / instructional designer for a remote, part-time position. The candidate will have excellent content creation and design skills, including the ability to edit instructional content and create videos at a professional level. The position is an opportunity to create awesome content, make a difference for students and instructors, and gain online / higher education experience in an innovative company. Part-Time | Hours: 3 days/week Phoenix area candidate preferred

Responsibilities

Course Production. Manage the production of online course content in collaboration with our faculty SMEs and under the direction of our Education Team. Authoring and Editing. Write, author, and edit excellent course content (text, graphics, videos) working to meet course learning objectives and the requirements of our templates and production standards. Graphics and Video Production. Provide primary support in creating engaging graphics and examples to meet defined objectives in coordination with other EDU team members and faculty. LMS / SIS Administration. Assist with the setup and administration of course content in the college's LMS and SIS. Student Community / Success. Assist the Education Team with support for student community and student success programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong video creation skills Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Ability to work creatively and collaboratively to meet deadlines Background or interest in digital media and design fields such as graphic design, illustration, photography, or video/filmmaking Familiarity with HTML and CSS a plus Experience teaching or developing educational content at college level is preferred but not required.
