Contract Investigator

Company Description

Capovilla & Williams is the leader in military law and justice and represents United States service members in high-stakes criminal and administrative cases worldwide. This position is part-time but may evolve into full-time. The starting pay is $20 per hour. Role Description This is a contract remote role for an Investigator. The Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigative research, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, preparing detailed reports, tracking hours spent, and collaborating with the C & W defense team.

Qualifications

Strong research, analytical, and organization skills Experience in gathering and analyzing evidence Interviewing and interrogation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and remotely Ability to work quickly and under tight timelines Experience in military criminal cases is a plus Experience in CID, NCIS, OSI, ACI or other military investigative organizations is a plus Former military investigators or law enforcement are strongly encouraged to apply.
