Corporate Counsel - Healthcare

Our client, a major healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel – Managed Care to join a leading healthcare organization. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a strong background in healthcare law, managed care contracting, reimbursement disputes, and physician network operations. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate managed care agreements, including PPO, HMO, Medicare Advantage, and value-based care arrangements. Advise on payor disputes, claims denials, reimbursement issues, audits, and regulatory compliance. Provide legal guidance on physician network participation, provider contracting, and IPA/CIN initiatives. Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to address complex healthcare legal and business matters. Ensure compliance with California healthcare regulations, including the Knox-Keene Act, DMHC, and CDI requirements. Active California Bar membership required. Strong knowledge of payor contracting, Medicare Advantage, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance. Experience with IPAs, physician networks, or value-based care arrangements preferred.
