Customer Service Representative Absolute Staffing & Consulting Solutions is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team of professionals. This is a remote position in a virtual call center setting. Job Title: Customer Service Representative Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30 EST Pay Rate: $18-$21 per hour General Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with prior call center experience to support members in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This fully remote position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle sensitive information, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Handle inbound and/or outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner Assist members with healthcare-related inquiries, including benefits, eligibility, claims status, and general account questions Accurately document all interactions in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all privacy and security requirements Resolve customer concerns efficiently while meeting quality and productivity standards Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary Meet or exceed established performance metrics, including call quality, attendance, and productivity Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 1 year of call center or customer service experience (healthcare preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and active listening abilities Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and applications Reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free home workspace Ability to adhere to a set schedule and meet attendance requirements Working Conditions: Remote work from home office, virtual Call Center environment. Must be able to sit for extended periods.
