JOB TITLE -- Cyber Security Engineer LOCATION – Remote (PST Time zone) JOB TYPE -- Contract DURATION -- 6 Months + Extendable INTERVIEW MODE -- Virtual RATE -- $60-$65/Hr. Job Description: As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards. Responsibilities: - REST API Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting REST APIs. Must be able to read API documentation, construct API calls, and understand authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, bearer tokens). Python Programming: Practical, production-ready Python experience for building tool integrations and automations. Security Tool Familiarity: Hands-on experience with at least three (3) of the following platforms: Tenable Nessus or Tenable VM (vulnerability management) Imperva WAF (web application firewall) Brinqa (security orchestration, automation, and response – SOAR) Synopsys Polaris or similar SCA tools (software composition analysis) Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR/MDR) Crowdstrike Falcon or Falcon Shield (endpoint protection/detection and response) IBM Guardium (database activity monitoring and security) Trend Micro VisionOne (threat intelligence and incident response) Zscaler ZIA or ZPA (cloud-based security – optional but valuable) What we’re looking for Educational Qualifications: - Engineering Degree – BE / ME / BTech / M Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable. Mandatory Technical skills: - Security engineer with Python and API integration experience.
