Cybersecurity Analyst Intern

The Role Support security assessment and accreditation activities for IT systems and applications Conduct security and compliance audits, risk assessments, and system testing Review and document policy, incident response, and remediation gaps Collaborate with senior cybersecurity professionals to develop action plans Document and maintain data for remediation activities Assist with testing security controls to ensure system protections are effective What You'll Need Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Junior level with 3.5 GPA or higher) Strong attention to detail and ability to document procedures Foundational understanding of networking and operating system fundamentals (TCP/IP, Windows, Linux) Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through coursework, clubs, or projects Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines IT network or systems administration experience What's On Offer Hands-on experience in cybersecurity assessments and compliance initiatives Opportunity to work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals Full-time, on-site internship for 9 weeks (June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027) Exposure to security operations concepts and cloud platforms Apply via Haystack today!
