Cybersecurity Engineer, Junior The Opportunity: - Designs, implements, integrates, and maintains systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities. - Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. - Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refers more complex issues to higher levels. - Works under direct supervision. You Have: - Experience with programming or scripting languages C/C++, PowerShell, and Python - Knowledge of general computer systems, information security software and hardware components, network systems, databases, or information security safeguards - Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy principles, computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies - Ability to break down complex information technology systems, including cloud, servers, firewalls, routers, and switches - Ability to communicate technical details to various levels of internal and external stakeholders - Ability to obtain a Secret clearance - Bachelor’s degree - Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II+ Certification, including Security+ within 90 days of start date Nice If You Have: - Experience with analyzing network configurations and network architecture diagrams - Knowledge of zero-trust best practices and methodologies - Possession of excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills - Knowledge of Agile Methodologies - Master's degree Clearance: - Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
