Role Description The Dat Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) at Le Média Positif - Djibouti is a part-time role focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across digital media and audience engagement initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, the analyst collects, cleans, and organizes data from various internal and external sources, including social media platforms, web analytics tools, and audience surveys. The role involves running basic analyses, building simple dashboards or reports, and summarizing findings into clear, accessible insights for editorial and marketing teams. The analyst collaborates with colleagues to identify trends, measure campaign performance, and suggest data-informed improvements to content, distribution, and outreach strategies. Qualifications
Ability to work confidently with data collection, cleaning, and organization using spreadsheets or basic data tools. Capacity to perform entry-level data analysis, create simple visualizations, and interpret trends in audience or performance metrics. Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Comfort with remote collaboration tools, time management, and working independently in a distributed team environment. Curiosity about media, digital platforms, and audience behavior, with a willingness to learn new analytical tools and methods. Attention to detail, ethical handling of data, and commitment to accuracy and integrity in reporting. Preferred: Coursework or experience in statistics, data analytics, media studies, or a related field; familiarity with basic analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
