Data Acquisition & Licensing Manager

Location: San Francisco Bay Area Employment Type: Full-time Company: Zeteon.ai Compensation: $120K–$180K base / year Zeteon.ai builds an AI research agent that runs the scientific research loop end to end — literature, hypothesis, experiment design, execution and analysis. We have a 30-person team, a product in use, and revenue . Headquartered in Singapore, we're now building our U.S. team. What You’ll Do Source and evaluate scientific literature, databases and datasets with our research team Negotiate licenses with publishers, database providers, research institutions and data vendors Secure AI-use rights: training, retrieval, evaluation and derived outputs Run provenance and compliance review with legal counsel Own the data budget, license register and renewals What We’re Looking For Experience at a data company or on the data team of an AI/LLM company (required) 5+ years in data acquisition, data licensing or data partnerships A track record of negotiating data or content licenses end to end Solid grasp of copyright and AI-use licensing terms Comfort with scientific content; a science or research background is a plus Compensation $120K–$180K base salary.
