The Role We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Data Specialist with strong ClickHouse and dbt experience to join a client working on an ongoing business analytics migration. You will take ownership of key analytics logic within an existing data warehouse environment and help improve the reliability and business relevance of the company's data. A key initial focus will be improving an existing customer health score model , ensuring it better represents customer behavior and churn risk. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to stabilize analytics workflows, improve data quality, and turn business requirements into reliable metrics and data models. This is a full-time remote engagement , requiring availability within CET ±2 hours . Main responsibilities Develop and improve the existing analytics environment using ClickHouse and dbt Review and optimize aggregation and metric logic, particularly around customer health and churn Translate business requirements and KPIs into reliable data models and analytics solutions Investigate data inconsistencies and improve data quality within the warehouse Build and maintain dbt transformations, models, and metric definitions Collaborate directly with business and technical stakeholders Ensure analytics outputs reflect real business impact and commercial needs Collaborate with and provide technical support to a junior analyst Improve documentation around data flows, transformations, and metric logic

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with ClickHouse in production analytics environments Strong experience with dbt , including data transformation and modeling Solid experience in business analytics, data analytics, or data warehousing Experience owning KPIs, metrics, aggregation logic, and data models Strong SQL and analytical skills Ability to investigate data inconsistencies and improve data reliability Strong ability to translate business questions into practical data solutions Excellent communication skills and confidence working with non-technical stakeholders Business-first and commercial mindset Availability within CET ±2 hours Nice to have Experience with PostHog Experience with Metabase Experience designing or improving customer health scores, churn models, or customer-risk metrics Startup or scale-up experience Experience working in fast-moving and resource-constrained environments Exposure to self-hosted analytics infrastructure on AWS Experience supporting or mentoring junior analysts Why work remotely with Proxify?
