About the Opportunity: The DATA ANALYST - DIGITAL MEDIA SALES, NBCU LOCAL supports the Digital Media Sales Local Inventory & Analytics team by developing and maintaining data solutions for reporting and analysis. The role is central to enabling data-driven decisions across sales, finance, and inventory teams, enhancing operational efficiency and insight through automation and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets using advanced formulas. Update and improve Python scripts for reporting and automation. Manage Business Intelligence tools like Tableau to meet analytics needs. Troubleshoot reporting errors and data discrepancies in client-facing dashboards. Automate custom reports to improve workflow efficiency. Produce ad-hoc reports and analyses as business needs evolve. Create and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. At least 2 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields. Expert-level Excel skills including advanced formulas and data reconciliation. Proficient in Python, particularly with pandas for data manipulation. Strong working knowledge of Tableau including advanced features. Familiarity with DOMO BI platform and its functions. Experience with Git/GitHub for version control. Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools. Ability to support Eastern Time business hours. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Minimum age of 18.
