Data Architect - W2 Only
Title: Data Architect - W2 Only Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract. Interview Mode : Phone + Video Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and governed enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture, conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, advanced SQL development, data integration, and large-scale data modernization initiatives. This role requires a proven Data Architect who can translate complex business requirements into robust data architecture, collaborate directly with customers and technical teams, and establish data management standards that support enterprise-wide initiatives. Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) is a plus but is not required. Required Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, enterprise data modeling, SQL, and data management. Strong hands-on experience designing enterprise data architectures and complex data models. Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, functions, stored procedures, transformations, and performance tuning. Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical data platforms. Experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, data mapping, and enterprise data flows. Proven experience in data governance, data quality, MDM, data security, privacy, and compliance practices. Experience leading or supporting large-scale data migration and modernization projects. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical architecture. Strong customer-facing consulting, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills. Experience with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages is beneficial. Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or other enterprise customer data platforms. Familiarity with customer data integration, unified customer profiles, segmentation, and data activation use cases. Experience with REST APIs and tools such as Postman. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and real-time or streaming data architectures. Relevant data architecture, data management, or platform certifications.
