Data Engineer

Contract - Data Engineer (SQL + Python | Microsoft Fabric) – LATAM (Remote) We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join a fast-growing data & analytics environment supporting multiple consumer brands. This is a highly execution-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working through data challenges, and delivering real outputs quickly. What you’ll be doing: Extracting and transforming data from complex systems (including Salesforce) Writing and optimizing SQL queries to support reporting and analytics Working in Python notebooks to process and manipulate data Supporting data pipelines and helping move data into a centralized data warehouse Working within Microsoft Fabric (or similar platforms like Azure Synapse / Databricks) Partnering with internal teams to improve data accessibility and usability What we’re looking for: 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar Strong SQL skills (must-have) Experience with Python (especially notebooks) Basic knowledge of PySpark Experience working with modern data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, etc.) Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities Able to work independently and deliver without heavy oversight Nice to have: Experience working with Salesforce data Exposure to data warehousing concepts (ETL / ELT) Why join?
